Funeral Honors Man For East Utah Work
Alva M. Murdock was described by Oscar A. Kirkham, member of the L.D.S. first council of seventy, as a man "who spent his hard-earned fortune to develop eastern Utah," at funeral services conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m in the Wasatch stake tabernacle, Heber.
Principal speakers at the services conducted by Heber M. Rasband, bishop of the Heber First L.D.S. ward, were John A. Fortie, Victor Dillings and Mr. Kirkham.
Burial was in Heber cemetery. Mr. Murdock died Wednesday.
