Alyce Mayhew

was born about 1509 in Tisbury, Wiltshire, England. She died about Jul 1586 in Tisbury, Wiltshire, England.(756) McCoy gives death date of "1 Jun 1590." She was buried on 14 Jul 1590 in Tisbury, Wiltshire, England.(753) Alice was definitely Thomas's wife, but I don't know if she was Matthew's mother or not. There is an entry in the Parish registry of Tisbury which Dr. Banks could not decipher which may indicate that Thomas married Alice Waterman in 1575, which would definitely be after the birth of Matthew, thus she would not be his mother.
