About Amelia C. Kewer

Amelia Bergstrom, daughter of August and Anna Bergstrom, was born in Gibson City, Illinois on 2-9-1885. She passed from this life at Milwaukee, Wis., on 3-23-1926, aged 41 years, 1 month and 14 days.
She united in marriage with Joseph Kewer in 1905, and to this union two daughters were born, Dorothy M. (wife of J. F. Swett) and Josephine Amelia at home. She received her education in the Gibson public schools and was confirmed in the Swedish Lutheran Church in which faith she trusted the Grace of God was sufficient. Her married life was largely spent at Racine, Wis., moving to Milwaukee a couple of years ago. She had been in ill health for some time and the end came peacefully.
She leaves to mourn their loss her husband and two daughters, and her mother and three brothers - Edward and Hampton of Gibson City, Claude of Racine, Wis., and two sisters, Mrs. F. W. Gottrich and Mrs. Chas. Hay of LaPorte, Indiana.
The funeral was held at the Swedish Lutheran Church in this city last Thursday afternoon the services being in charge of Rev. G. J. Schillerstrom, pastor of the Presbyterian Church.
