- 217(a)2 Amelia Murray of Strowan, served heir to her brother 5th May 1726, and to her father 30th July 1754. She was then the wife of Lord George Murray (No. 104 above).
ARMS of Henry Murray of Lochlaw, " descended of Strowan," recorded in Lyon Office, 1672-77. - Azure, a falcon's head erased between three mullets argent. CREST : A greyhound courant proper. MOTTO : " Gloria non prceda." [Plate V, fig. 1.]
