It is possible (not proven) that Amey was the daughter of Thomas Parram (Parham) who left a will in Prince George County VA dated 5/14/1717. He leaves a cow to his daughter "Amy Jones".
Thomas Parram was a close neighbor to Capt. Peter Jones and Capt. Richard Jones, as well as Godfrey Ragsdale.
Thomas Parram's mother was Susannah..no surname determined.
Susannah remarried Roger Tilghman (later changed his name to Tillman) after her first husband surname Parram died.
Though not part of this family line the Tilghman family was one of the early immigrants and patents in Virginian..one of the first settlers of Colonial Virginia..many moved there after the Jamestown massacre. 90 percent had land holding of 50 acres or less.
Roger was born in 1650 in Accomac VA, before 1675 he married winnifred Austin, in 1680 he married Susannah Parram.
He transported 22 people to the colony ..perhaps including Robert a Abernathy.
His land was known as fort tilman.
He died in 1690 in Prince George VA
His father was Christopher Tilghman born 1600 in Kent England and married to Ruth Devonshire.
