Spelling makes all the difference to some people, to others...not.

Amos' parents and children all spelled their name as Gingrich. No dispute there. Many records can be found with his name spelled Gingrich. There is little doubt that his name was Gingrich. But right here in this cemetery, his stone says Gingerich, as does his wife's some 30 years later.
