About Amy "Annie" Jane Rose

Born about 1733 or 1734

Will of Amey Rose Drewery Bruce: Granville County, NC; Wills Book 3; p. 186, Dated: 25 March 1795, Proved: May 1795.

Note: Amy, wife first of William Rose, second of Ellis Drury/Drewry, and third of George Bruce, has been assumed to be a sister of James Langston, based on William Rose calling James Langston "brother in law" in his will of 1768. Information from a Langston family Bible provided by a genealogy.com user indicates that James Langston's wife was Jane Rose, who must have been sister of William Rose; therefore Amy is not James Langston's sister and her maiden surname is unknown.
