He lived in Duluth and went to a Minneapolis barber school. He then became a professional wrestler. Next he had a homestead in South Dakota but there was a drought. He moved to Saskatchewan, Canada and did well farming wheat. His wife taught school and they had no children. She died in the early 1950s and he in the early 1970s. Source: Myrtle Stratton, his Niece. He lived at Limplock (Lintlaw), Saskatchewan, Canada. He died at Preeceville, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Lintlaw is located on 342 Township Road (Highway 49) about 45 miles West of Preeceville and about 230 miles East of Saskatoon
