About Anders Gulbrandsen Segelstad
Someone from Segelstad might have been involved in a little mystery in Oslo on a February day 240 years ago?
A food box with various contents was stolen on the night of 3. February 1782. Now there is Segelstadgarder on Sør- Fron and Gausdal too, and I don't know the names and writing methods of these guards up all the time. But it was both Anders and Iver (who is also mentioned here) at Segelstad on Fåvang back then, so it can be thought that this one was from Fåvang. What happened next, and if the coffin of contents was found again, history says nothing about it.
