spouse of Margaret WATSON and he was married second to Sarah Stout, she was the mother of most of his children.
He fought in the Battle of Trenton. Responsible for getting boats used by General Washington Troops to cross the Delaware River.

Andrew Bray Obituary Published in the Pennsylvania Gazette, Wednesday, July 15, 1789 Departed this life on Monday, the sad ultime, by a strike of lightening, as he was returning home from church (the day before having been communion season) ANDREW BRAY, of Kingwood, Hunterdon county, New Jersey, in the 76th year of his age; his remains were decently interred the Wednesday following in the church yard at Baptist-town, attended by a numerous crowd of friends and relatives.
Andrew Bray Biography, This Old Monmouth of Ours, Page 331: ANDREW BRAY (5), son of John (1) was born July 1, 1713, and was killed by lightening in July, 1789. He married, first, Margaret Watson, a daughter of Peter, and, secondly, Sarah Stout. His children were: Anne (22); John (23); Deliverance (24); Huldah (25); Sarah (26); and Thomas (27). This family presumably lived in Hunterdon County.
Origins
1724/5.Mary Whitlock, widow, dying left a sum of money to her grandsons, Andrew and Daniel Bray, which with money belonging to Peter Bowne, was lent to Thomas Cox.
Sarah Stout married Andrew Bray and died without issue.
