In April of 1849, Andrew was in the company of 85 men from Washington. In 1859 we find Andrew was a Justice of the Peace during the 1st part of the Civil War. He fought in the Battle of Pea Ridge. Andrew died May 23, 1862 in the Battle of Shiloh from heat exhaustion. Company G, 16th Arkansas Infantry Regiment. Enlisted 5 Nov 1861 at Fayetteville—Age at enlistment: 48.
