INDEPENDENCE, Wis, (Special) — ¦ Andrew J. Kampa, 79, died Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at Tri County Memorial Hospital, Whitehall, where he had been a patient three months.

He was born July 26, 1889, in the Town of Burnside to Matt and Julia Fiencyk Kampa and married Sophia Klimek May 13, 1912, at SS. Peter & Paul's Church here. He moved to Independence when he retired from farming.

Survivors are: His wife; two sons, Peter and Dominic, Independence; three daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Pauline) Puchalla and Mrs. Ralph (Kathryn) Skroch, Independence, and Mrs. Edmund (Constance) Slaby, Arcadia; 26 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Mike, Independence, and one sister, Mrs. Frances Slaby, Arcadia.

The funeral service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul's Church, the Rev. Chester Moczarny officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Kern Funeral Homo after 7 p.m. tonight. The Rosary will be said at 8 both tonight and Tuesday night.
