Andriet' Onderdonk ( Adrian'^ AndrJes') , b. 1707, at Jamaica, L. I.; d. March 17, 1790, at New Hempstead, Orange County, N. Y.; m., ist, Marretje Remsen, dau. James Remsen of Kings County, N. Y.; m., 2nd, in 1738, Willemyntje Van Houtcn. Willemyntje Van Houten was b. April 4, 1715; d. Sept. 16, 1765, in Rockland County, N. Y.
Andries Onderdonk was a Lieutenant of Orange County Militia in Capt. Jacob Vanderbilt's Company, Col. Vincent Matthews' Regiment, in 1738. In 1759 he was a Captain in Orange County (Annual Report State Historian, N. Y., I, 575, 917, 918).
On Jan. 4, 1736, he and his wife Marretje joined Tappan Church on profession of faith.
His will was drawn July 2, 1770.
