Andries van den Berg (1928 - 2010)
Brief overview:
Andries (82), was bound and then clubbed to death on his Knoppieshoogte smallholding, Rikasrust, Randfontein. His body was found at 19h00 on 4th November 2010 on his bedroom floor by his son Joë (50). Two baseball bats and a knobkierie (club) were lying next to his body.
The community offered a R5,000 reward for tips leading to the killers' conviction. SAPS captain Appel Ernst said investigating officer Warrant Officer Karen Nel could be contacted at 011 278 8100.
