Anita Joubert (1933 - 2008)
Brief overview:
Anita (75), and her husband Stephanus Joubert (77), were found by the police, on Sunday morning, after a friend of the couple couldn't reach them on Saturday night. They had both been bludgeoned with a blunt object in their home at 25 Rupert Road Bakkershoogte, Somerset West, on 15th March 2008. Anita was already dead, but Stephanus was still alive, and taken to the Vergelegen Medi-Clinic, where he died later that day.
Their nephew, Anton Kruger, said they didn't have children, and they had moved KwaZulu-Natal many years back to retire in Somerset West. His aunt had a sister who lived in Bellville who had visited her every weekend.
