About Ann Katherine Jung
Daughter of Peter Kunz (1780-1830) and Anna Margaretha Stahl (1780-1845) of Frickhofen, Nassau, Germany. Married Philipp Jung (1795-1851) on 15 Sep 1829 in Frickhofen. They entered the USA 5 Dec 1845 at Galveston, Texas, with their 6 sons, and went to New Braunfels, Texas. Philipp died there abt 20 May, 1851, and was buried in an unmarked grave which is long lost. Mrs. Jung then took her family to Fredericksburg where some of her siblings had settled. Peter Kunz (1810-1882), Anna Maria (Mrs Johannes Georg) Staudt (1813-1900), and Johannes Adam Kunz (1820-1887).
