Ann Redmond/Bloomer

Known as Ann. She was from a family of Catholic converts from Hasidic Judaism. She was born in England or Ireland in 1842.

She was the third wife of Edward Bloomer. Like Edward her father was a soldier in British India.

Her first two sons were born in Swords near Dublin. She went to Perth with her husband and two sons Christopher and James on the "Racehorse" in 1865. She had a third son Richard (Dick) in Australia.

Her husband died in 1868 and she lived with Michael Brennan (her relative) and in 1871 she remarried to Michael Redmond with whom she have a family. Her two older sons aged 10 and 8 remained with Michael Brennan after her marriage. She died in Perth in 1902.
