Ann Roberts, 4th child of Elizabeth but 1st child of John Roberts

From the book "A Rich Inheritance":

In the 1828 Census, Elizabeth registered herself under the surname Roberts, householder of Richmond with two daughters Henrietta aged 8 and Ann aged 1, both born in the colony. John's name completes the family group but there are no details of him, no age and no occupation. The child Ann mentioned in the Census entry was the first registered child born to John Roberts and Elizabeth Carlisle. Ann was born on 4th June 1827 and baptised at St Peter's Church of England Richmond on 5th July 1827, where her father's profession was listed as "sawyer". Sadly Ann died on 8th February 1929 at the age of only 20 months.

Please note: ann was registered as Carlisle as that was Elizabeth's surname at the time but the father is listed as "unknown"
