Ann and Charles commenced their relationship almost on her arrival in NSW. Considering their relative ages, they had quite a large family. The family group can be located in the 1828 census page 402. Five children are included, Thomas 17, Maria 13, Robert 7, Mary Ann 3 and Eliza 4m. Additionally two children were already deceased by 1828 and there were two more births after that date, Charles in 1829 and Sophia in 1832.
