Thomas PORTER is my ancestor who m bef 1762 Sarah "Sally" WEAVER, recently proven by mtDNA to be the daughter of Anna Elizabeth CUNTZE, wife of Tilman WEAVER. Because Sarah was not mentioned in Tilman's will, this has taken years to prove. Sarah's sister Evelyn "Eva" WEAVER m Samuel PORTER, believed to be a brother of my Thomas.
Thomas and Samuel PORTER are cited as selling land that descended to the co-heiresses of Tilman WEAVER. Mary, Catherine and Ann Elizabeth at that time were not married. Sarah and Eva were the wives of Thomas and Samuel PORTER, respectfully.
