About Anna Elizabeth Brandt
Anna E. Brandt, 84, of the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, and formerly of Deodate, died Wednesday in the home. She was the widow of Roy S. Brandt; was a member, lifetime deaconess and former organist of Conewago Church of the Brethren, Hershey RD 1; was employed in the food-service department of Milton Hershey School and later employed at the former Mrs. Miller's Pies; a former member of the Auxiliary of Lebanon Valley Brethren Home; and a member of Elizabethtown College Auxiliary. Surviving are three sons, the Rev. Luke H. of Gap, Roy Jr. of Houston, and Samuel H. of Palmyra; three daughters, Nancy J. Jay of Arendtsville, Betsy A. Shenk of Manheim, and Sandra B. Pushnik of Palmyra; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in her church with the Revs. Carmon E. Sollenberger and Howard A. Whitacre officiating. Burial will be in Conewago Cemetery, Hershey RD. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements are being handled by the Miller Funeral Home, Elizabethtown.
