About Anna Easley

Patrick Co., VA, Book 1, p. 37. In the name of God, Amen: I, Ann Easley, of the County of Patrick, Va., being Weak in body, but of sound mind and memory, do make and ordain this my last will & Testament in form and substance, as follows: I give and bequeath to my son, Warham Easley, my feather bed. I give and bequeath to my daughter Judith Gaines, my hatchel and some kitchen furniture. My desire is tht the balance of my estate remain unmolested where it now is until the first of November next, at which time, I request that it may be sold to the highest bidder, and the money thence arising, after all my debts are paid to be equally divided between my son, John Easley and my daughter Suchy Frances, and lastly I do ordain and constitute my Two sons; Worham Easley and Joseph Easley, Executors of this my last will, to see the same performed according to its true intent and meaning as far as in their power lies. The within last will and Testament of Ann Easley, deceased, was exhibited in Court by Joseph Easley and Warham Easley, the Ex'ors. therein named and proved by oaths of the witnesses thereto to be the act and deed of the Ann Easley dec'd, and the same was ordered to be recorded and the Warham and Joseph Easley qualified as Ex'ors, entered into bond accordingly.
