Dated this Tenth day of August 1731. The condition of this obligation is such that, whereas there is a License desired for a marriage Intended between the above bound John Woodson, and Mary Miller of ye county of Lancaster aforesaid. If, therefore, there is no Lawful cause to Obstruct the s’d marriage, then this obligation to be void; otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.”
