In 1751 she married Michael Shoffner in Germany. The couple immigrated to America in 1760 with their four children. Upon their arrival, the family settled in Orange County, North Carolina. The family grew with the birth of additonal children born in North Carolina.

She lies at rest beside her husband at the Saint Pauls Lutheran Church Cemetery located in Alamance County,(Prior to 1849 -Orange County), North Carolina.
