Anna B. Frazier

Anna B. Salmons was born in 1795 in Franklin County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Rowland Salmons and Frankie Carter. She was also known as Anny. She died before 1842. She most likely died in Edgar County, Illinois, as her children were born there.

Anny married Weeks Frazier, son of William B. Frazier and Artie Elkins, on February 23, 1815 in Floyd County, Kentucky. Consent for the marriage was filed in Floyd County on February 16, 1815. She was the mother of twins.

Additional Notes for Anna Salmons Frazier

The date of Anny's birth, 1795, is possibly in error. A consent for her marriage was filed on February 16, 1815. If Anny was born in 1795, she would have been 20 at marriage, and consent would not have been needed. Her parents were married in 1795 and her next closest sibling was born in 1799. Her birth could have been any time between those two dates.

The date of Anny's death, before 1842, is based on Weeks remarrying in that year. Her death could have been any time from the birth of her twins in 1836 and his remarriage in 1842.
