About Anna Glaser
Anna Glaser, 93, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2000, at her home. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, at Sheffield Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, family suggests contributions to American Cancer Society, Beth Shalom Synagogue or Kansas City Hospice. Mrs. Glaser was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom and its Sisterhood, life member of Hadassah, was a former co-chairman of Blue Boxes for Hadassah, and was a former chairman of the Kansas City branch of Jewish National Fund. She was born in New York City, NY, and came to Kansas City as a young child. Mrs. Glaser was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Joseph C. Glaser, in 1968; her parents, Philip and Ida Goodman Moskovitz; and her brothers, Lt. Sidney L. Moskovitz, Jack Moskovitz and Rubin Moskovitz. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharyn and Dr. Charles M. Bernstein, Kansas City, MO; a sister, Minnie Hauser, Overland Park, KS; three granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews also surviving.
