She immigrated into the United States in 1906. Anna Greetta Lammassaari, born 30 Apr 1882, a farmer's daughter from Simo parish was granted passport nr 611 for America by the provincial government of Oulu on 23 Apr 1906.

She departed from the port of Hanko aboard SS Astraea of the Finland Steamship Company for Hull, England on 28 Apr 1906. She continued the Atlantic crossing from Liverpool aboard RMS Celtic of the White Star Line. Arrival at Ellis Island on 13 May 1906. Price of the ticket 89 dollars. Destination Astoria, Oregon.

Presumably died in Petroskoi on 20 Oct 1939. Declaration of death on 1 Jan 1974.
