According to several records, including those of the Oley Hill Church, Berks County, Anna Margaretha Pfalzgraf died at sea on the voyage to America with her husband, Johann Jacob Kuntz, in 1738; she died in childbirth with an unnamed child.
The Alsatian (France) records show that all of Johann Jacob Kuntz's children were born in Neiderbronn, Alsace, France, just over the border from Germany.
Husband Johann Jacob Kuntz arrived in Philadelphia from Rotterdam on November 9, 1738 on the ship CHARMING NANCY. Anna Margaretha Pfalsgraff who was born on September 22, 1695 died at sea on the way to America in 1738 at the age of 43. She was buried at sea.
