From 1880 census:
Parents born in Scotland.
From Scott Baumann:
Anna Maria Haydock came from a large Irish family known to have been located in Brooklyn. Her parents both came from Ireland in the late 1820's where they maintained their membership with the "Society of Friends" religious order.
According to her death certificate, which was obtained from both the State of New Jersey, and also from viewing the records from Rahway City Hall, Department of Health on 7/27/2002, it mentions that she was born in Pennsylvania. She was born to John Haydock and Jane Allen who were members of the religious order known as "The Society of Friends", otherwise known as the Quakers. Due to her religious convictions it was frowned upon when she married F.A. Schumacher. Records show that she was disassociated from the Quakers several times due to her marriage. She was periodically re admitted to the Quakers after performing adequately to their beliefs.
