Born in London on Tuesday 12th April 1541. Married (1) John West, son of George West of Aughton and Aston, Yorkshire, at St. Peter‟s, Barnborough, on 6th September 1559. Anne and John West had four children:

• i. Jane: Baptised at St. Peter's, Barnborough, on 17 August 1660.
• ii. Anne: Baptised at Barnborough on 28 August 1661.
• iii. Barbara.
• iv. Godfrey: Married Catherine Revel at Hansworth on 25 May 1579.

Anne and her sister Katherine, wife of Godfrey West of Aughton, were daughters of Thomas Revell by his first wife Katherine. Their father married his second wife Anne More West, widow of John West, gentleman, of Aughton, on June 7, 1580 at Handsworth. This second wife was a daughter of Anne Cresacre West.

Granddaughter of Richard Revell (d.v.p.) of Brampton-en-le-Morthen, in Treeton parish.

On August 24, 1587 Godfrey West, gentleman, quitclaimed to George Talbot, earl of Shrewsbury, and John Boothe, yeoman, of Handsworth-Woodhouse his right in Falconer Wood, alias Canonthorpe Wood, in the parish of Aston, Yorkshire.

Thomas is the father of Ann and Catherine. Their mother is unknown. It would seem that Ann More is Thomas' second wife. Ann More's first husband was John West. She and John had three children; Godfrey, Anne and Jane. Catherine, Thomas' daughter, marries Godfrey West. He is the son of her step-mother, and consequently, her step-sibling.
