Annie Beatrice Simpson was born June 8, 1928 in Snyder, Texas, daughter of Jack & Ruth Simpson. She is the sister of William "Bill" Powell Simpson (1921) and Jack Wallace Simpson (1926). In 1943, she graduated from Snyder High School. In 1949, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene, Texas.

On June 11. 1955, Annie married the love of her life, Billie "Bill" R. Reynolds, in Snyder, Texas. Their children are Athena Ann; Billy "Bill" Jack; Tommy Eugene and Terry Glenn Reynolds

Annie taught in public schools for five years before becoming a full time homemaker. She was an avid seamstress who lovingly sewed for family and the public. She spent a number of years involved with the Cerebral Palsy Center. Since 1965, Annie was a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan. She could tell you all the players and when they played. She looked forward to the fall time of year because it meant football, her favorite pass time activity. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church in Midland.

By 2014, her family had grown to include 5 grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Cody, Courtney and Caul; and 3 great-grandchildren, Aubrey Lynn, Grayson, and Kace.

On Thursday, October 16, 2014, Annie B. (Simpson) Reynolds, age 86, passed away in Midland. Funeral services were held in Midland at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Cody Skies presiding. Burial followed at Resthaven Memorial Park, Midland, Midland County, Texas.
