Billie Ray Reynolds (1933-2003)

MEMORIAL:

Billie Ray Reynolds was born on March 27, 1933 in Lamesa, Dawson County, Texas, son of Eugene and Nadine Reynolds. Billie grew up and was educated in Roscoe, Nolan County, Texas. After High School, he joined the U.S. Army and served between 1953 and 1955. He became known as "Bill".

Bill married Annie Beatrice Simpson on June 11, 1955 in Snyder, Texas. Since 1955, they have both resided in Midland. He was self employed and retired as a Home Builder. Bill was preceded in death by his daughter Athena Ann in 1974 and son, Tommy, in 1981.

By 2003, his family included 4 grandchildren; Michael, Jonathan, Cody, and Courtney.

On Saturday, August 30, 2003, Billie Ray "Bill" Reynolds passed away at his residence in Midland, Texas. Arrangements were under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. The Funeral Service was held in Midland at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 2, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Sain presiding.
