Ann Rose ‘Annie’ Daniel

Ann was a Cherokee woman

Biography

Ann Rose Taylor was born in the Cherokee Nation (East) in 1821. She was the daughter of Richard Taylor and Susan FIelds. She married Robert Daniel in 1836. [1] In 1838 the family was Removed to Indian Territory where they settled in the Delaware District. They were the parents of eight chldren: Osceola, Richard, John, Fannie, Thomas, Susie, [2] Robert, and Eliza. [3] Ann died March 4, 1897 and is buried at the Fairview Cemetery, Vinita, Oklahoma. [4]
