About Lucinda Walker

Lucinda was born in the Cherokee Nation about 1835. The family was removed to Indian Territory, where she married a cousin, John Osborn Walker about 1854. According to the Eastern Cherokee application of her daughter Emity (#11887), the family lived in the Tahlequah District (they can be found as family #259 on the Drennan Roll) where Lucinda died in 1859. Emily was their only child.

Lucinda was attached to the wrong John Walker, is now attached to the correct one (was previously showing as the wife of her husband's grandfather).
