Annie Pauline Bland was born on June 11, 1927 in Pompano Beach, Florida, daughter of Clyde and Beulah Bland. She is the twin sister of Leonard Bland and sister of Jewell (1913); Norma (1915); James Clyde (1917); Christine (1919) and Mildred (1921) Bland. She was known as "Pauline".

In 1948, she married Wayland Wadley. Their children are Gary, Tony, Kirby and Debbie.

Pauline became a registered nurse. Also, she had a great love for family, home, crafts and a beautiful yard. She served many, many hours of community service through the Telephone Pioneers of America volunteer organization. By 2010, her family had grown to include 6 grandchildren, Wayland, Annie Nell, Emily, Katie, Ben and Warren and one great-grandchild, Tessa.

On August 26, 2010 after 62 years of marriage, Annie 'Pauline' (Bland) Wadley died in Apopka, FL. Arrangements were under the direction of Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home in Apopka. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Highland Memory Gardens, Garden of Nativity Section, Apopka, FL.
