We would not know of Anthony's existence except for a marriage record, only stating "New Jersey" as the location. He is likely the son of one of the three DuBois brothers who came down from Ulster County, New York, to settle in Salem County, NJ. Two of the brothers stayed, and one returned. Anthony could be the son of either of them, although some of their families are rather full around the time Anthony would have been born.
It is also true that "Anthony" is likely an anglicization of a Dutch name that has been lost to time.
