JOUT KY02-Family Bible of Captain Jack Jouett; "Haden of Virginia andKentucky", contributed by Charles Hughes Hamlin, P. O. Box 3525,Richmond, VA 23234. Anthony Haden, a Captain in Virginia service inthe Revolutionary War, was stated in the Jouett Bible to have been ason of John Haden and grandson of Anthony Haden "The Elder" and thathe was born 28 March 1746 (or 1747?). The Bible continues with themarriage dates and names of his three wives and the names of the issueof each wife. To further substantiate the Bible record there isexhibited herewith a very interesting "Agreement" dated in CampbellCounty, Virginia, 20 October 1795, (Abstracted) - "Know ye that we,the sons and sons-in-law of John Haden, of Campbell County, have bymutual consent and with the consent of the said John Haden, haveagreed to divide among us, all and every part of the said John Haden'sestate that he chooses to give up to us," etc., renouncing all furtherclaims or right to any (of his) property, etc. Signed By: AnthonyHaden, John M.
