Antoine was born around 1708 in St-Jean, Île d'Orléans to Etienne Fontaine and Marie Conille <ref>Dictionnaire Généalogique des familles Canadiennes, Tanguay, Vol. 4, pg. 45</ref> (no baptism found for him, he is given the age of 20 on his marriage in 1728, and 82 on his funeral record in 1790)
Antoine married Marguerite Angélique Godbout August 19, 1728 in St-Laurent, Île d'Orléans, Canada, Nouvelle-France <ref>IGD Marriage record Institut Généalogique Drouin</ref> After Marguerite Angéligue's death, Antoine married Louise Guyon on June 9, 1775 in St-Francois, Île d'Orléans, <ref>IGD Marriage record Institut Généalogique Drouin </ref> Antoine died March 14, 1790 and was buried on the 15th in St-Jean, Île d'Orléans, Province of Québec <ref>IGD Burial record Institut Généalogique Drouin</ref>
