Toni, 91, Russia, died at 11:45 a.m., at Dorothy Love Retirement Community.
She was the daughter of August and Anna (DeBrosse) Peltier. On Sep 14, 1940, in Piqua, she married Dillon Baugher, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are three daughters: Ann (Verl) Monnin, McCartyville, Jean (Robert) Meier, Lakeview, and Teresa (John) Freisthler, Sidney; a daughter-in-law, Chris Baugher, Russia; a brother, Leonard (Alvina), Russia; a sister, Rose (LeRoy) Schwieterman, Burkettsville; and eleven grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Deceased are a son, Joseph; two sons-in-law: John Berning and Gary Watercutter; a brother, Hubert; seven sisters: Martha Luthman, Ursula Baugher, Gertrude Baugher, Bernice Monnin, Florence Pothast, Esther Zircher, Grace Lung; a step-brother, Albert Denn; and a great-grandchild, Gavin Quinter.
A homemaker, she retired from Enpo. Cornell, Piqua. She was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, sewing and spending time with her family. She was a devout Catholic and had a strong devotion to the Lord and the Blesssed Mother. She had an unwavering faith in God that inspired others. She lovingly gave of herself to many. She took care of her parents, her husband and her sister Gertrude when they were unable to care for themselves. Her sense of humor and ever-ready hug will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Remy Catholic Church, with Rev. Frank Amberger officiating.
