About Antonia "Tonie" Wotipka
Antonia Wotipka, 98, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017. Antonia Wotipka was born July 4, 1919, in Valparaiso, the daughter of Jan “John” and Marie “Mary” (Zmec) Bohac. She lost her parents at an early age. In her younger years, she rode horses. Antonia was a hard worker and saved her money. She enjoyed gardening, garage sales, dancing to polka music, cooking (her kolache were world famous). She was always keeping a watchful eye over her children. Survived by her children, Shirley Dolezal, Adolph (Diane) Wotipka Jr., and LaVerne Ehrlich; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; step-son, Lee (Linda) Wotipka; sister, Bessie Dvorak; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by first husband, Vladimir Dolezal; second husband, Adolph Wotipka Sr.; sons, Donald Dolezal, Dennis Dolezal, and David Wotipka; son-in-law, Fred Ehrlich; sisters, Mary Zaloudek, Rose Votova, Emma Buresh, Julia Kolar, Agnes Fink, Francis Polivka, Clara Buresh, Lillian Hospodka; and brothers, John, Joseph, Adolf, and Frank Bohac.
Rosary will be at 10 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 19, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Davey, with Reverend Patrick Barvick officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony's Bohemian Cemetery in Bruno. Memorials may be directed to her family for later designation. Lincoln Family Funeral Care is handling arrangements.
