About Antonie Fannij Elisabeth Fiedler
Antony was born in 1870 in Liepaja as the second child in the family. In baptism participated mother's sister - Antony Hoffman, from whom she acquired her name. Antony has confirmated in 1887.
She studied in Liepaj's German high school. At that time the school was taught religious, arithmetic, geography, history, calligraphy and singing. The languages taught in school was French and Russian.
In 1900 she married Friedrich Fiedler, which was 4 years younger. Antonija's mother was against this marriage and declares her daughter will not come to her with complaints about her husband. The new familly moved to live in Valujeva str. were all daughter was born - Karina (1901), Fanny (1903) and Marry (1907). Later they lived at 5 August Str., next to the main Train station. All are given everything, so they can attend school, obtain knowledge and learn piano. Later the familly moved to lived at 5 August Street, next to the main Train station.
In 1927 Friedrich was only asleep, and family decided to go live in the German old people's home at Gintera (Ukstiņa) Street 5, apt. 5.
After the death of husband in March, 1942 she with her daughter Karina moved to home for disabled in Iecava. There she spends a rest of her life.
Antonie died 1958 (85) in Iecava and is buried in Riga, I Meza kapi.
