Armilda Roseline Kauffman

- Armilda R. Kauffman, 77, of Mifflintown RR3 and formerly of Allensville died at 2:52 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at Lewistown Hospital. Born May 24, 1922, in Allensville, she was a daughter of the late A. L. and Katie B. (King) King. Her husband, Alpha B. Kauffman, died July 21, 1990. Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Roland (Catherine) King Jr., Mifflintown RR3; brother and sister, Trennis King and Ethel Yoder, both of Belleville; and two grandchildren. She was a seamstress for the R.S. Vogt Sewing Company, Allensville, and was later employed by Metz's Feather House in Belleville. She was a member of Locust Grove Mennonite Church, Belleville. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Locust Grove Mennonite Church, 3358 W. Main St., Belleville, with pastors Max Zook, Erie Renno and Gary Krabill officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Locust Grove Mennonite Church and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the church.
