Arnt Melbostad, who was born March 20, 1888, in Lisbon Township to Andres and Mathia (Sorum) Melbostad, Passed away July 7, 1974.

He farmed with his brother, the late Ole Melbostad for over 20 years and then he lived with the George Grinagers until 1958. When he moved to Clarkfield, he lived at Valhalla Apartments for three years. Due to his health he was taken to the hospital and passed away at the Clarkfield Care Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Ole. He leaves to mourn his half-brother George and two half-sisters, Mrs. Amanda Cornelius and Mrs. Mable Larson, nieces and nephews.
