Arthur Jerold Lee

Arthur G. Lee, 92, of New Hampton, died Friday, Aug. 22, at Mercy Medical Center, New Hampton, of natural causes.

He was born Nov. 4, 1910, in New Oregon Township, son of Carl Errelius and Hannah Olson Lee. He married Aleda Tenora Nystel June 1, 1937 at Crane Creek Lutheran Church. She died April 8, 2000.

He worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps and also as a farm laborer. Mr. Lee farmed until retiring in 1975. He also hauled cream for the Jerico Cooperative Creamery from 1948 until the creamery's closing.

Survived by a son, Carlyle (Peggy) of Durand, IL; two daughters, Marlys (Wayne) Hart of Loves Park, IL and Adis Lee of New Hampton; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister Helen Bergman of Clear Lake.

Proceded in death by a great-grandson in infancy; six brothers, Herbert, Oliver, Everol, Sigurd, Clarence, and Harold; and a sister, Ruby Wiedeman.

Arthur will be buried in the Crane Creek Cemetery.
