HOLDEN MAN DIES OF FALL INJURIES (Tribune Intermountain Wire)
HOLDEN, Millard County--Austin G. Ashby, 45, died at his home early Sunday morning of injuries suffered in a fall from a haystack Saturday afternoon.
He was born January 9, 1809, at Holden, a son of William H. and Nancy Maria Badger Ashby. He was a prominent farmer and member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ethel Bennett Ashby, Holden; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Thorley, Mondena, Iron County; Bertha and Neva Ashby, Holden; a son, Garr Ashby, Holden; five sisters, Mrs. Nina Wood, Mrs. Emma Stephenson, Mrs. Susan Bennett, Mrs. Martha Stevens and Mrs. Edith Stephenson, Holden; three brothers, Nathanial Ashby; Leamington, Millard County; Rodney Ashby, Manti and Robert Ashby, American Fork and three grandchildren.

Austin Garr Ashby, 55, a liftime resident of Holden, died August 27, 1944 in Holden, Utah from an accident when he fell from a haystack. His occupation was farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel. Interment was made in the Holden Cemetery with Olpin Mortuary handling the arrangements.
