service in the Revolutionary War. He was a Corporal in Captain
Wadsworth's Company of Hartford; Col. Cook's regiment and took part
in the battle of Stillwater and Saratoga. Military records for
Connecticut also show that both senior and junior served in Captain
Forward's Co., 18th Reg. Militia at New York.
