Wedded at a camp for Svea artilleriregemente (Artilleriregementet (old)) in Roslagen, Sweden. Very little else is known about Beata and her side of the family, a signature appearing alongside her husbands probate (Swedish: bouppteckning) hints at the assumption that she could write.

Shared ancestry with Petter Dahlpihl, rider for no. 84 Skåra, Stigtomta between 1684 and 1705, Backman (1995, 262) writes that the connection is likely though it has not been possible to verify.

Notes

• The name Dahlpihl is not a common one, but was used as a soldiers name and probably takes a joking aim at the crossed arrows on the 1-öre coins available at the time (or at the Coat of Arms of Dalarna).
