About Beatrice Gezina Susanna Naude
Beatrice Gezina Susanna Naude (1935 - 2002)
Brief overview:
Beatrice (66), was shot in the chest, and died, on a smallholding outside Krugersdorp, on 22nd December 2002.
She pleaded with the perpetrators not to murder her husband Willem "Willie" (71), "If you want to shoot me, shoot and get it over with. Please leave the old man alone," then two shots were fired.
The couple slept in separate bedrooms, and Willie said, "My wife kept saying 'Willem don't come out, they will kill you'." He managed to get hold of a neighbour and a detective at the stock theft unit.
Captain Paula Nothnagel, police spokesperson, said the suspects forced open the burglar proofing in front of Mrs Naude's window to get into the house.
The couple ran a small farm shop. The only item stolen was a cash tin containing R100.00.
