“Benjamin Allen, son of Samuel Allen, 3rd, born in Bridgewater in 1702, emigrated to Norwich, Conn. and had 2 wives. [SIC: No. That’s a mixup with Benjamin Allen, of Norwich] Children:

• Joseph Allen, who went to Vermont and had a son Ebenezer, who was an officer in the Revolution.
• Benjamin Allen, who settled near Utica, NY, who had a son Benjamin Allen.
• Amasa Allen, who went to Walpole, NH and was a General.
