Biography

Benjamin Collins was born in Feb 6, 1687, the son of Joseph Collins and Ruby Knowles of Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts[1] [2]

On January 8 1707, he married Sarah Bangs, daughter of Jonathan Bangs and Mary Mayo of Sarah married on 08 January 1707 in Truro, Barnstable County, (then) Province of Massachusetts Bay, to Benjamin Collins.[3] [2], and their children included:

Ruth, born July 8, 1708, , who married Zacheus Rich son of Richard on May 5, 1727[2] Richard, born February 7, 1709, who married Sarah Lombard on January 25, 1732[2] Lydia, born September 30, 1712, who married John Rich son of Robert on March 5, 1729[2] Benjamin, born May 11, 1713, who married Jerusha Stevens in 1735[2] Jonathan, born March 31, 1715, who married Jane Lewis on January 29, 1735[2] Hannah, born June 25, 1720, who married Ambrose Snow December 29, 1742, and then married David Snow June 7, 1759[2] Mary, born May, 1722, who married Amasa Snow on Feb 19, 1740[2] Joseph, born February 29, 1723, who married Phebe Knowles on Feb 16, 1743[2] Sylvanus, born July 1727[2] Sarah (?)[2] Benjamin Bangs died in 1756[2]
